Translate Video & AI Subtitles (also known as "WavBoost") ("we", "our", "us") is an app developed and operated by webdevai. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our mobile or web applications (the "Service").

Information We Collect

• ›Account data: your email address and password, collected when you create an account in the app.
• ›Uploaded files: audio and video files you choose to upload for processing, collected only when you start a job. You remain the owner of these files.
• ›Generated content: transcripts, translations, and processed audio or video produced from your uploads.
• ›Purchase data: your one-time purchase status, together with an account identifier and a device identifier, collected when you make or restore a purchase.
• ›Device information: limited technical data (device model, OS version, device identifier) used for diagnostics and compatibility.

How We Use Your Information

• ›To operate our audio and video processing features (denoise, stems, diarization, transcription/translation, dubbing, etc.) and return the results to you.
• ›To authenticate your account and unlock the features included in your purchase.
• ›To deliver customer support and respond to inquiries.
• ›To maintain system security and prevent abuse or fraud.

AI Processing

All transcription, translation, dubbing, and audio processing is performed on our own backend servers, which we own and operate, using open-source machine learning models that we self-host.

We do not send your files, audio, video, or any content derived from them to any third-party AI service or external AI provider. No third-party AI service has access to your content at any point.

Data Storage & Retention

We store your uploaded files securely in the cloud for processing. All jobs, uploaded files, and generated results are automatically deleted within 24 hours after processing to protect your privacy. You may delete your jobs earlier from within the app at any time.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data, we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes, and we do not share your uploaded content with any third-party AI service.

We rely on a cloud infrastructure provider to host our servers and storage, and on a purchase management provider to process in-app purchases. The infrastructure provider does not access or process your content for any purpose other than providing hosting. The purchase management provider receives only your account identifier, device identifier, and purchase status, and never receives your uploaded files or their contents. Both operate under data protection agreements requiring the same or equivalent protection of your data as described in this policy.

We do not use your data for tracking across other companies apps or websites, and we do not share it with data brokers.

You can request to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us at contact@wavboost.com.

Security

We use encryption, authentication, and limited access controls to protect your files and account information. However, no system is completely secure, and you use the Service at your own risk.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us to remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post updates on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Significant changes may be communicated in-app or via email.
